Can you do this with a 6.8 barrel to allow the use of 30-30 brass AND the standard 6.8 SPC, provided that the rim recess is cut in the barrel?

I cut "rim counterbores" for the 6.8 SPC barrels all the time as it does allow for the use of 30-30 brass after it has been run through a 6.8 SPC die and trimmed to length...
After 30-30 brass has been sized and trimmed, after a rim counterbore has been cut in your barrel, you can interchange between the 6.8 brass and 30-30 brass without having to change out the extractor...
This is also a prime example of where a "rimmed" cartridge will prove to be more accurate, because of it being shot in a break open single shot....
