I took these pictures off the game camera after moving it back another 25 yds. from where it was previously - where we took our deer at last Saturday....

David,

It looks like that little buck could use some help in the headgear department.

The deer are so used to coming to the feeder they must not be able to smell the blood on the ground.  Rain tonight and it will all be washed away.

  Good hunting this week end.

Ben,

those are actually 3 different bucks and yes, they could all use a little help in the headgear department...

I wish I had another camera to put over at your second stand cause we saw a very LARGE 10 point over there later this evening...

With all the dogs running through the area, there is no sign that a deer was ever killed there...

Also, those three gut piles had totally dissapeared by 8:00 am the following morning. No skin, no blood, no smell, absolutely nothing left. Next time though, I'm gonna set my game camera up to do a couple of 30 second filmings to see just how long it takes a coyote to do a total clean-up....

David,

Those are some nice shots.  Now, all that needs to happen for a successful day is to have a nice one come by during legal shooting time.

The predators can clean up a gut pile is short order.  Last year I shot a deer in the late afternoon and the next morning the coyotes were just finishing clean up when I went to one of my stands.
